Help and frequently asked questions
Quick guidance for managing your LexiFr Schools workspace.
How do I get started?
Create a class, invite your students, then create an assignment. Students complete assignments in the LexiFr mobile app.
How do invitations work and how can I correct an email address?
Open a class and add student email addresses. Review the matches before confirming. For a pending invitation, use its edit action to correct the address, then resend it if needed.
Can I edit an assignment after creating it?
You can edit its title and due date. Its word list is frozen on creation so progress remains consistent; create a new assignment for a different selection.
When do students see an assignment?
An assignment is active immediately for its active student audience. There is no draft mode, so check the class and audience before creating it.
What student progress can teachers see?
The student progress page shows class membership, recent activity, words worked and mastered, review attempts, accuracy, assignment status and recent assignment summaries. It does not show individual exercise answers or student-entered content.
What do resend and cancel do for a pending invitation?
Resend refreshes the invitation link and sends the invitation again. Cancel revokes the pending invitation; the student will need a new invitation to join later.
What happens when a student is removed?
The student is detached from school classes and no longer receives school assignments. Their personal LexiFr account is not deleted.
What happens when I archive a class or assignment?
It leaves active workflows, but its history and progress are preserved. An owner or co-owner can restore an archived class or assignment.
Who can manage the school?
Owners and co-owners manage the organization. Teachers only see and manage the classes assigned to them. See the Staff page for available roles.
