These Terms describe the LexiFr website, newsletter, mobile app, and Schools experience. By using the website, joining the newsletter, or using LexiFr, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

LexiFr is provided for your personal, non-commercial learning and language acquisition. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

LexiFr offers two separate kinds of paid access. Individual app subscriptions are billed by the relevant mobile marketplace. LexiFr Schools (organization plans for schools, classes, and groups) is billed directly through Stripe.

Individual app subscriptions (mobile)

• Premium Features: Premium features may be offered through a relevant mobile marketplace.
• Billing: Billing, cancellation, and refunds for individual app subscriptions are handled by the relevant store according to its policies.
• Restore Purchases: Restore purchase controls are provided in the app where supported by the relevant store.

LexiFr Schools (organization plans)

• Plans: Schools plans are recurring monthly subscriptions (Starter, Classroom, School) purchased on this website and billed by Stripe.
• Billing: Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
• Renewal: Schools subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You can cancel a Schools subscription at any time by contacting [email protected]. On cancellation, organization access ends at the close of the current paid period; learner accounts and any learning progress are retained.
• Refunds: Except where required by applicable law, recurring subscription payments are non-refundable for the current period.

4. Educational Disclaimer

LexiFr is designed to assist in vocabulary acquisition. However, we make no guarantee of language proficiency, exam results, or success in official language exams (such as DELF/DALF). Language learning progress varies by individual.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse LexiFr. This includes attempting to reverse-engineer the app, bypassing security measures, sharing premium account access, or using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

6. Service Availability

Service availability may vary due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with or without notice. Cloud sync for your progress is available when your device is online.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

The LexiFr website, branding, logo, written content, editorial materials, and related assets are owned by LexiFr or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse LexiFr materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

If you submit information through a LexiFr form or email channel, you must not submit unlawful content, infringing material, or content you do not have the right to share.

Third-party names, trademarks, and services, including MailerLite, remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Age Requirements

LexiFr is not intended for children under 13. In the European Union, users under 16 should use LexiFr only with parental consent. By using LexiFr, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
